Guatamala Travel & Vacations
I travelled to Guatamala in 1999, and have a few travel tips if you're planning a holiday there. Antigua is a wonderful old colonial city - it used to be the capital of Guatamala, and it's well worth a visit when on vacation. Guatamala is a country of great variety. The mayan ruins at Tikal are an undoubted travel highlight: it is well worth taking at least a two day tour. Mayan history can be found throughtout Guatamala. Guatamala's highlands are also worth including in your vacation. You should take a tour to Lake Atitlan, with it's scenic villages and little hotels amidst the surrounding volcanoes.
